Preparing the pizza dough at home, like what we find in a real italian pizzeria is not hard, just follow simple rules and steps.
Pizza, together with pasta, is one of the best-known Italian recipes in the world, it belongs to leavened products and its basic dough is made up of a few simple ingredients: flour, water, oil, salt and yeast. This dough is prepared with a strong flour, rich in gluten and ideal for long leavening. Once ready, it can be stuffed as desired, with the classic tomato puree and the ingredients of your choice.
Ingredients for about 30 oz/850 g of dough (3 pizzas of 10,2 inches/26-28 cm)
17.6 oz/ 500 g of 00 flour (or Manitoba flour)0.2 oz/7 g of fresh brewer's yeast (or 3 g of dehydrated brewer's yeast)
0.3 oz/10 g of extra virgin olive oil
12.3 oz/350 ml bottled natural mineral water at room temperature
0.2 oz/8 g of salt
